Create an ExpressVPN Keys account

  1. Install and set up the ExpressVPN iOS app.
  2. If you see the Keys tab, follow the setup instructions to create your account:
    1. Create a primary password.
    2. Save the recovery code in a safe place. You will need it to access your password manager if you lose the primary password.
    3. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your email.

Set up ExpressVPN Keys on another device

Important: If you signed up for ExpressVPN via the in-app free trial on Android or iOS, you will need to set a password (and an email address) for your ExpressVPN account before setting up ExpressVPN Keys on your other devices.

If you have already set up your ExpressVPN Keys account and want to use ExpressVPN Keys on another device:

  1. On another device, install ExpressVPN Keys:
  2. Follow the instructions to activate the password manager.
  3. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your email.
  4. Unlock the password manager.

Your logins will sync automatically across your devices.
